We are currently seeking an experienced

 

(Lead) Senior Marine Coordinator (m/f/d) OWF Baltic Power

 

to join our team supporting the Baltic Power project on-site at the Marine Coordinator Center in Łeba, Poland, starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the marine coordination team, acting as both mentor and operational lead
  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for resolving complex marine coordination challenges
  • Oversee and ensure the smooth coordination of project-related maritime traffic to support safe and efficient offshore operations
  •  Evaluate the suitability and compliance of chartered vessels with operational and safety requirements for offshore work
  • Supervise the management of TETRA digital radio communications to ensure seamless connectivity among all stakeholders
  • Review and approve work permits in alignment with safety and regulatory standards
  •  Lead and document daily vessel coordination calls with ship captains and offshore representatives

Requirements

·        Proven experience in marine coordination, ideally within the offshore wind or energy sector

·        Completed maritime education or a nautical qualification (e.g., Master 500GT or Nautical Watch Officer)

·        Valid maritime radio certification (ROC/GOC)

·        Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word; familiarity with ECDIS hardware is a plus

·        Fluent in English; Polish language skills are a strong asset

·        Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
